I've always wanted to write. Years ago when life seemed much simpler, I dabbled in writing. I recall a couple of files (fondly I called them "books") I started long ago, on an old laptop that somehow has since wound up in the garage with the display screen out of order & after many years of laying in a box, I am sure has little to no benefit now.
But write I have always wanted to do. I've fantasized about writing the next best seller -- something extremely wild and unbridled, a scandal that one only dreams about being the main character in, or perhaps a novel based on thoughts & dreams of a small town girl grown up... So far, I've found little that needs to be published though a lot still to say.
I found this site thanks to my daughter-in-law, Jan, who with my son, Dan, lives in Nashville with their two dogs, Hubble & Maddie. They love the Nashville area and what I once thought was nothing more than a Country & Western song has fastly become a city that has lured me into its web & I have become entranced by its spell. I LOVE visiting Nashville. It is an amazing place.
I am not sure what will be posted here. Life's happenings as seen from the eyes of a 48 year old mother of three and grandmother of two... Happenings from the eyes of a small town girl, all grown up, with little more than a high school diploma, still learning, and growing, and ever watching the pages unfold.

- Of all the things I've learned in my life, the most important is that when it all comes down to the very core of life, what matters most is your family. Love them, hold them close, let them know how you feel because when life brings turmoil and chaos, family is what counts.
